Kassel… washed with all waters
Dr. Astrid Wegener on the exhibition in Kassel:
“The title “Kassel…washed with all water” will be presented in five exhibitions presenting the manifold aspects of the element (https://museum-kassel.de/de/ausstellungen/kassel…-mit-allen-wassern-gewaschen). The collections of applied art and the castle museums provide an insight into the world of body care. The themes range from washing and bathing in general to the art of the toilet and the quiet little place. In the section “Men’s toilet” this shaving table would close a sensitive gap.
The hygiene module will be shown in Kassel in the west pavilion of the former Orangerie Palace, opposite the baroque marble bath.” (https://museum-kassel.de/de/museen-schloesser-parks/staatspark-karlsaue/marmorbad)
The exhibition runs from 16.05.2021 to 12.09.2021.
