A rare pair of rococo appliques

Vienna around 1750/1760

Two-armed, bronze gilded with polychrome enamel work by the Viennese porcelain painter Christoph Jünger

Measurement: 21 cm high, 32 cm wide

Naturalistically designed wall piece made of leaf tendrils and branches, from which the two arms rise. These also have multiple twists with applied polychrome enamel flowers.

The drip plates and spouts are also in enamel and very finely painted.
